This is an archival platform that seeks to unearth a portrait of Lithuanian printed matter printed between the 1960s and 1990s. Today, it symbolizes the history and can be used to portray a period that occurred in a country that doesn’t exist anymore. The initial idea, that started as a final year project in university, now functions as a research platform for anyone who is looking for inspiration, celebration, and visualization of graphic design history.
The archive contains documents, magazines, books, do-it-yourself manuals and many more is a collection of a printed medium that could have been found in everyone’s home during the Soviet era in Lithuania. In this case, all of the material traces in this archive have been found in Justina’s grandparents that have stayed these as documents of communist everyday life.
